I wanted to remind everybody to go out tomorrow (August 31st) and purchase the new Used album “Artwork”. As you can tell I’m pretty excited.

The boys of Every Time I Die have posted their new video off the new record, “New Junk Aesthetic”. The song is called “Wanderlust” and can be found on Myspace!
More parting band news. Jim Lindberg of the great Pennywise group has decided to part ways with the band. He said, “After 20 years, nine albums and thousands of shows around the world, my time in Pennywise has come to an end. Being the singer for this band has been an amazing experience, and along the way we made some of the best fans anyone could ask for. There are few things that made me more proud than seeing people at our shows singing our songs, and it’s your support and encouragement that’s kept me going this long. I would sincerely like to thank everyone who helped us along the way and wish everyone in the Pennywise family the best of luck and continued success. Yours truly, Jim.”
This doesn’t mean the end of Pennywise, though. They are in search of a new singer and will keep going. Jim is working on a documentary for his book Punk Rock Dad: No Rules, Just Real Life.
According to Alternative Press, pop band Cute Is What We Aim For have called it quits. It seems to be that singer Shaant Hacikyan is going solo. The bassist of the band, Dave Melillo cut it down to this: “At the beginning of August I let Shaant know I was leaving the band… At the beginning of July Mikey, Jeff, some family friends, and I sat down with Shaant. We told him the things he needed to change as far as attitude and demeanor goes. I want to make it known that I shut him out of my life after that. He needed to be on his own if he was going to do anything positive for himself. There was not a visible change in his attitude or work ethic when I got back to Buffalo, so I decided to live my own life.”
Blink 182 has an ongoing tour video diary posted up on the Macbeth Footwear’s website, one of the main sponsors of the tour. I personally own four pairs of these shoes and I’m slightly addicted. If you’re that big of a Blink fan, check out The Matthew style!
The fall mega tour has been set! Boys Like Girls will be heading on the road with tour support from Cobra Starship, The Maine, A Rocket To The Moon, and VersaEmerge. This almost two month long stretch goes all over the US, ending with two dates in Boston.

Every Time I Die has posted a trailer for their new DVD “Party Pooper”, and trust me, this isn’t any shinfo (ETID fans will know what I mean). It will be exclusive material that will come with the new album, “New Junk Aesthetic”, which is suppose to drop September 15th.
Today, there has a great loss in the music world. Rock and Roll hall of fame star Les Paul passed away at the age of 94 due to complications of Pneumonia. He will never be forgotten for his revolutionary innovations to the guitar and music in general. Rest In Peace.
The Riot! crew has announced their fall tour for the support of the new album, “Brand New Eyes”. Support will be from The Swellers and Paper Route. Pre-sale begins Monday, August 17th, public on the 21st and 22nd, depending on your location.
